Tahoe Mountain Tune-up

Come help us with tuning up the North Side of Tahoe Mountain. We will be fixing any trail needs, and brushing back brush! We will be getting to use power hedgers, loppers, and handsaws to remove brush from the trail corridor. This not only improves user experience for both hikers and bikers, but it also improves safety, as we open up how far you can see down the trail, and around corners, so that hikers, bikers, and runners all can easily see what is ahead of them.
We will work from 9am to 2pm. Meeting off Panther Street.
No tools necessary or trail building experience necessary, TAMBA will provide tools and training.

In order to ensure that you are prepared for the day, please make sure you bring the following with you:
– Long Sleeve Shirt
– Long Pants
– Helmet (bike ok)
– Long Finger Gloves
– Eye protection
– Sturdy Shoes (over the ankle boots recommended if doing rockwork
– Food/Snacks for the day
– Plenty of liquids
– Backpack
– Rain gear if thunderstorms are forecasted
