Lower Kingsbury Stinger Reroute Community Dig Day

July 22, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Come help us do finishing work on the lower Kingsbury Stinger Trail! Our partners at the Forest Service have been able to rough out approximately 1.5 miles of trail that now needs to be cleaned up to make for rideable trail. This reroute will include over 650ft of descent!

No trail building experience needed! Tools will be provided by TAMBA. Any help is appreciated, no time commitment required!

Community Dig Days are TAMBA’s community driven trail days, geared towards family friendly work, and volunteers of all ages and skills. We try to get as large a team as possible, so bring your friends! We will meet at Shoreline Tahoe after the work day and TAMBA will provide a BBQ/lunch with drinks, snacks and a small raffle free for volunteers!

We will meet at 9am at the pullout on Sewer Plant Road and start working our way up the trail from there! We will return to the trailhead no later than 12:30pm for some refreshments, and then head over to Shoreline Tahoe for our BBQ starting at 1pm.

Shoreline Tahoe will also be offering a free shuttle to the first 14 volunteers that sign-up (must be present for whole volunteer day to ride). Shuttle will leave from Sewer Plant road TH at 1pm. Shuttlers will then be encouraged to head back to Shoreline for our BBQ.

Email Jake@tamba.org, after registering for the trail day, to sign up for the shuttle!
