Kaspian Rim Volunteer Dig Day
July 16 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Come join us as we work to finish rerouting the old fire road up to the newly built Kaspian Rim Trail!
In 2022, TAMBA built 1.5 miles of trail called the “Kaspian Rim Trail” connecting Stanford Rock Trail to Kaspian Rocks. We are now working on an additional mile of new trail that will tie Kaspian Rim back to lower Stanford Rock and create additional loops and ride options. Less logging road, more forested, flowy, bike optimized singletrack! This will help to create Stanford Rock as a trail system.
Our build location is approximately 3 miles from Hwy 89. Recommended parking area for trail work is at Rideout Community Center, 740 Timberland Ln, Tahoe City, CA 96145. Work Location map can be found here Kaspian PP Reroute Jun 2024.
We will be working from 9am to 2 pm, but there is no time commitment required. Meet at the worksite at 9am if possible for the morning briefing, or find a crew leader (blue helmet) for directions upon arrival.
