⚠️ Trail Operations Notice ⚠️ Caution Advised: Our USFS partners and their contractors are engaged in active hazards tree mitigation currently and throughout the summer. Although there are no formal trail closure planned this year, temporary closures and traffic delays may occur to ensure public safety. These interruptions are similar to those previously implemented on the Corral and Sidewinder trails recently.
👷♀️Safety Measures: Trails may be temporarily closed, and traffic may be halted when operations encroach on open trails, particularly during tree felling.Please use caution and be aware of your surroundings.

Saw Party on Toads today comprised of two volunteer crews of two each cleared 27 trees and surrounding debris up to the snow line at 7400ft!
Did you know our volunteers contributed 6,000 hours on trail work in 2024? We could not do what we do without your contributions. Thank you for all the work in our Corral, Connector, Sidewinder, Incense Cedar and Toads Zones in the last few weeks. Your passion is 🔥!
We are seeing a particularly high number of down trees across our trails this early season. How can you help if you see something on the trail needing attention ? 1️⃣ Take a picture (pro tip: use a human, bike, helmet or other object to give reference to the size of the tree) 2️⃣ Note your coordinates. You can do this via Trailforks by pinpointing your location and taking a screenshot or using a compass app 3️⃣ email these to trails@tamba.org OR report as an issue directly on the Trailforks app
If you can’t do the above, just letting us know is helpful too. Scouting like this is invaluable to our planning. For this work we had volunteer scout @jessicasmith_lee with detailed pictures and locations mapped for the team so they were prepared prior to going out with the right tools and enough gas for the saws. You can help us do the same !

This International Women’s Mountain Bike Day we’d like to celebrate the women that ride bikes & maintain our trails. The trails are just melting out and in 2025 to date we have hosted our Women’s trail college, kicked off the season, scouted work days, cut trees, and cleared debris (not to mention crew lead training this weekend). Celebrating the Women of TAMBA today - our Employees, our Partners, our Members and Volunteers- thank you ! (that means you 😉)
