We just had a rad day on the Elevator Shaft re-route day today in Tahoe City. We had 14 stoked volunteers show up, on a Wednesday! We had some first-time trail work volunteers and volunteers from as far away as Sparks and Santa Rosa. Great group of people. We worked through one of the most difficult sections of the trail, removing dense brush, doing rock work, and removing three-foot-deep rotten logs. We also built the first of many sweeping insloped corners. This new trail will create many new loops in the Tahoe City Area.
Our next Elevator Shaft Build days are July 26, July 29, August 6, and August 23. Come share the stoke, build great trail, and meet other rad outdoor people.
