Recent Trail Work!

Thanks to our incredibly dedicated volunteers we’ve exceeded 3,000 volunteer hours for the season! September showers allowed us to get some more dirt shaping in throughout the basin and this included work on Toads, Connector, Kaspian Rim, Road 73 Bypass, Christmas Valley and Meeks Ridge.

Our pro crew also just finished some of the final touches on the Upper General Creek Trail. If you’re looking for an advanced level backcountry adventure with copious amounts of granite this autumn, be sure to check it out and link up to Lost Lake!

Spread the positive trail stoke!

Fall is upon us and local’s shoulder season is here in the Tahoe Basin!  That being said, it”s prime leaf peeping season and you may see increased traffic on a variety of trails. Be sure to admire the changing leaves and keep an eye out for others enjoying the foliage! Keep the positive stoke going out there!

Thank you for a successful fundraiser!

Thanks to those who attended or contributed to a fantastic evening catching up with friends, hearing the latest trail updates, and seeing TAMBA’s vision for the future. Because of you, TAMBA raised over $80,000 and met the $40k match from Desolation HotelMaggie’s RestaurantUntetheredBlueZone Sports and Tahoe Trail Bars! The contributions will enable TAMBA’s growth and ensure the ability to restore, adopt, and develop up to 50 miles of trails connecting the Basin.
We are already taking steps to secure warehouse space and planning has begun for next years trail work.

The evening was packed with content that informed and inspired. Drew and Patrick outlined the vision for the future of TAMBA in Tahoe and our plan to support upcoming trail development. The film from First Tracks Productions reminded us that big things are possible and that setting a goal and working hard can get you there.

Here is the trailer for the film An Everest in Tahoe by First Tracks Productions.  Look for the full length film at a coming film festival!

And lastly, we owe a huge shout out to all of our volunteers and partners that made the night a huge success:
