DESCRIPTION:We need a small strike team of volunteers on Stanford Rock to finish one last section before winter.  TAMBA is building one last section of logging road bypass between Stanford Rock Summit and Twin Peaks.  More  singletrack with great views.  Less nose-to-handlebar logging road climb!\n\nWe have tools for 6-7 volunteers staged at the work location (about 8200’).  We will be working between 11am-3pm to allow it to warm up (and volunteers to make the climb up).  Please RSVP\, since we have a limited number of tools at the work location.  Bring warm clothes\, long pants\, gloves\, helmet (bike helmet okay).  Plan on a 1-1.5 hour ride in to the work location\, so you’ll want to be riding up by 9:30am – 10:00am.\n\nWe will have water and snacks at the work location.\n\nContact Sandor at sandor@TAMBA.org

We’ll be out on Christmas Valley Trail working on brushing back whitethorn\, clearing loose rocks/sticks and improving drainage on the trail. Additionally\, we will be starting to work on some Forest Service approved advanced/optional lines on the trail to spice things up for riders who are looking for that! \nThe trail day starts at 9am and we’ll be meeting and working from the lower trailhead. We’ll have food and refreshments for volunteers at the end of the trail day as well as swag to hand out! \nPlease RSVP by filling out our online registration/waiver for this trail day. If you are bringing a minor\, please fill out this form as well. \n  \nOvergrown sections of Christmas Valley Trail as of May 2022. DESCRIPTION:Come help us rebuild the Meeks Ridge Trail on the West Shore. Join us from 11am – 3pm as we build our way towards Lost Lake. We’ll be refurbishing what used to be an old logging road alignment\, to be a fun multi-use singletrack. Once completed\, this 4-5 miles section of trail will help form an amazing 10-12 mile loop when combined with the rugged Lost Lake and General Creek trails. As of mid-October\, 2022 we’ve made it approximately 1 mile west from Highway 89. Feel free to bring your bike to ride in/out from the project site and try out the completed work! Volunteer days in November are very weather dependent\, so feel free to sign up\, but we’ll be sure to email if it looks like things will be cancelled due to precip/freezing temps. In November we’ll be working from 11am-3pm. \nIf you plan to attend\, please RSVP and fill out our Trail Day waiver . If you plan to bring a minor\, please fill out our minor waiver as well. Please choose Meeks Ridge as the trail location and be sure to select the correct day you plan to attend. \nWe’ll meet here at 9am before heading into the worksite. Please arrive 10-15 min early so you are able to find your way to the trail.
