SUMMARY:2024 FS 73 Bypass Dig Days
DESCRIPTION:Help us finish the first section the of the Road 73 Bypass Trail! We will be out every Saturday until the snow starts falling again. We are extremely close to finishing this trail\, but need your help! These two sections will bypass approximately 1.5 miles of road and provide two more miles of single track! \nFor October dig days we will be meeting at the pulloff above whoop-dee-doo trail. October Meeting Location FS73 \nUse this waiver to sign up! \nPlease remember to bring the following! \n– Long Sleeve Shirt \n– Long Pants \n– Helmet (bike ok) \n– Long Finger Gloves \n– Eye protection \n– Sturdy Shoes (over the ankle boots recommended if doing rockwork \n– Food/Snacks for the day \n– Plenty of liquids \n– Rain gear if thunderstorms are forecasted \nContact our Trails Manager\, Jake Groce\, at Jake@tamba.org with any questions. \n \nThanks to the support of the North Tahoe Community Alliance \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Meeks Ridge Dig Days at Lost Lake
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we work on the new Meeks Ridge trail from the Lost Lake Side! \nThese are small group trail days for the backcountry adventurer.  You’ll be among the first to see the new trail as we pass through a rare section of Tahoe old growth forest.  Sign up  here and you’ll receive an e-mail with map and directions to the work location. Plan on a 1-2 hour ride in to the work location via General Creek trail to Lost Lake trail or McKinney Rubicon jeep road.  There will be a few hike-a-bike sections on the way out. \nYou can find parking at the base of the trail here. \nWork days on Meeks Ridge run from 9am until about 2pm.  Because of the remote work location\, plan on making your way out at your own pace.  Find a TAMBA crew leader and check in and we will get you set up.  For backcountry trail work\, we are happy with whatever time you have to give.  Stay for an hour or two\, or work with us or all day! \nNo trail building experience\, or tools necessary\, instructions will be given by TAMBA Crew Leads\, and tools will be provided by TAMBA! \nSign up here! \nPlease remember to bring the following: \n– Long Sleeve Shirt \n– Long Pants \n– Helmet (bike ok) \n– Long Finger Gloves \n– Eye protection \n– Sturdy Shoes (over the ankle boots recommended if doing rockwork \n– Food/Snacks for the day \n– Plenty of liquids \n– Backpack \n– Rain gear if thunderstorms are forecasted \nIf you have any questions\, please email TAMBA’s Trail Manager\, Jake Groce\, at Jake@tamba.org \nThank you very much and we look forward to seeing you at the trail day!

We are extremely close to finishing this trail\, but need your help!
