September 21, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Join TAMBA for a special Big Trail Day!
Want to be among the first to see Tahoe’s newest mountain top summit trail?
TAMBA is running a special Big Trail Day on Stanford Rock Summit- Saturday, September 21. We are looking for approximately 15 rad people for a special mountain top trail day at the top of Stanford Rock. This is a unique volunteer opportunity. You’ll get the chance to be one of the first to see the new trail, work at the top of a mountain, and have lunch at 8500’. Views from the top are amazing, and some of the least well known in Tahoe (More than 20 mountain peaks are visible).
We have limited slots available (due to the logistics of getting people, tools, and lunch to 8500’). Please RSVP to: sandor@tamba.org.
We will meet at 08:30am. Ride up to the work location at your own pace. Plan on a 60-75 minute ride up, then a 10-15 minute hike to the summit. We will work until about 4pm (with lunch on top).
When- Saturday, September 21. 08:30am-4pm.
Where- Meet at Kilner Park (near Sunnyside, Tahoe City) at 08:30am. Ride up to Stanford Rock at your own pace.
