Road 73 Bypass Community Dig Day
September 16, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Join us on Saturdays this summer as we work to finish the lower section of the Road 73 Bypass Trail! This Saturday we will have a BBQ and a small raffle after the trail work. Bring your friends and family there will be a job for every age.
This is a short but important section of trail, that brings hikers and bikers off the Fiberboard Freeway, Road 73, and onto singletrack. This is the first of two sections of trail and will connect Whoop-dee-doo and Bear Claw Connector. Once this section is finished we will connect section one up to the TRT’s Painted Rock. These two sections will bypass approximately 1.5 miles of road and provide two more miles of single track!
We will meet at the Fairfield Community Center at 8:30 and carpool up to the worksite! Alternatively you can run/ride/hike up to the worksite, just north of where Bear Claw Connector meets road 73, and meet by 9:40.
Use this waiver to sign up!
