Meeks Ridge Dig Days at Lost Lake

Join us as we work on the new Meeks Ridge trail from the Lost Lake Side!
These are small group trail days for the backcountry adventurer. You’ll be among the first to see the new trail as we pass through a rare section of Tahoe old growth forest. Sign up here and you’ll receive an e-mail with map and directions to the work location. Plan on a 1-2 hour ride in to the work location via General Creek trail to Lost Lake trail or McKinney Rubicon jeep road. There will be a few hike-a-bike sections on the way out.

Work days on Meeks Ridge run from 9am until about 2pm. Because of the remote work location, plan on making your way out at your own pace. Find a TAMBA crew leader and check in and we will get you set up. For backcountry trail work, we are happy with whatever time you have to give. Stay for an hour or two, or work with us or all day!
No trail building experience, or tools necessary, instructions will be given by TAMBA Crew Leads, and tools will be provided by TAMBA!

Please remember to bring the following:
– Long Sleeve Shirt
– Long Pants
– Helmet (bike ok)
– Long Finger Gloves
– Eye protection
– Sturdy Shoes (over the ankle boots recommended if doing rockwork
– Food/Snacks for the day
– Plenty of liquids
– Backpack
– Rain gear if thunderstorms are forecasted
