Major Trail Day & BBQ – Kaspian Rim Trail
August 14 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
On Sunday, August 14th, we’re having a large trail day and BBQ out on the new Kaspian Rim Trail. Come help out on one of the newest and most scenic sections of trail on the West Shore, the Kaspian Rim Trail! This will be a great new addition to the Stanford Rock Trail network, but we need YOUR help to make it happen. We will also have work closer to Kilner Park on some of the access trails, for those individuals who aren’t quite up for riding 5 miles to the work site, or if you want to bring the kids along!
If you plan to come out, please RSVP and fill out our trail day waiver here. Please select Stanford Rock as the location and choose August 14th as the date.
We’ll be meeting at Kilner Park. Come check in between 8-9am and then head to your volunteer location. We’ll be working until 12-12:30pm before having a party and BBQ at Kilner Park. Food and beverages will be provided for volunteers.
Our big project is approximately 4-5 miles up the Stanford Rock Trail. There will be signs to direct you.
We will also have smaller, but still very important projects cutting back brush and improving sight lines on the Stanford Rock access trails.
If you have any questions, please email our Outreach Coordinator, Jake Groce, Jake@tamba.org
