2024 FS 73 Bypass Dig Days
June 29 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Help us finish the first section the of the Road 73 Bypass Trail! We will be out every Saturday until the snow starts falling again. We are extremely close to finishing this trail, but need your help! We have started in on phase 2 of the project and are now connecting the TRT painted rock down to phase one of the trail.
This is a short but important section of trail, that brings hikers and bikers off the Fiberboard Freeway, Road 73, and onto singletrack. The first section has connected Whoop-dee-doo and Bear Trap Connector providing a singletrack alternative to the Fiberboard Freeway. We have largely finished this section and now are working on connecting to the TRT’s Painted Rock. These two sections will bypass approximately 1.5 miles of road and provide two more miles of single track!
For October dig days we will be meeting at the pulloff above whoop-dee-doo trail. October Meeting Location FS73
