“Rising from the ashes to this incredible new trail network.” This year TAMBA and U.S. Forest Service – Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit partnered to build another 5 miles of new trail in the Angora Fire burn area. You must watch this film by First Tracks Productions – it’s a powerful story of how the community came together to do great things. To build this project, in 2017 TAMBA held over 60 volunteer trail days with about 150 volunteers and 2,000 hours of trail building. But remember, we’re not done yet and have major plans for future years, eventually getting single track to Emerald Bay.
